Welcome to Edithvale LSC Inc

Welcome to the award winning Edithvale Life Saving Club

We provide voluntary patrols of the Edithvale beach in summer so that swimmers and beachgoers can enjoy the bay safely.

Our members consist of family groups, children, teenagers and adults all with one thing in common, a love of our beach. With a passionate committee and membership group, we are committed to upholding the longstanding tradition of protecting the public on our beach.

We hope you have all had a great winter and have not had to hibernate too much.

As we come into some warmer weather it hits home that the new Life Saving season is approaching. So get your gear ready for some beach time!

Working With Children Checks

Please Note: All financial members aged 18 and over must have a Working with Children Check. This is a Life Saving Victoria regulation and all clubs are required to strictly adhere.

Forms can be obtained from your local Post Office, from the club on the Open Day and Registration Days or completed online directly from the Working with Children website

If you require any assistance there will be a member from the club to provide this on the day.

If you would like further information on LSV policy regarding this matter please go to

We need more patrolling members on our beach. Ever thought about completing your awards and joining our volunteer patrol team?

To ensure our members are operating within the legal framework of the Working With Children Act 2005 (Vic), it is imperative that ALL members over 18 years obtain the WWCC...
